Bio

I am not a knitter. Ok, I don't knit much. But I do get lots of Dear Hubby points for my interest in knitting, my indulgence of Those Who Knit, and the fact that I know the difference between mohair, angora, and fun fur. I have been known to ride two hours to a LYS with my SOs, hold endless yards of yarn to be made into center pull balls, and spend vacation time trolling knitting stores in far away cities for the Deal Of A Lifetime, aka known as Clearance Bin Treasures, with which to woo and wow those around me.

This blog came about as I watched my dear friends prepare for something called Sock Wars. I intend to show what Competitive Knitting Events look like to a person who understands that sticks and string make stuff, but just can't grasp the obsession.
